Acadesx complies with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, regarding the collection, processing, and retention of personal data of individuals in India.

As a SaaS provider, we primarily act as a Data Processor (Data Fiduciary for certain operational data) on behalf of our educational institution clients. We process personal data strictly according to the documented instructions of the institution and the provisions of the DPDP Act.

Data Principal Rights

Under the DPDP Act, individuals (Data Principals) have certain rights regarding their personal data. We provide tools within the Acadesx platform to assist institutions in honoring these rights, including:

• Right to Information: Obtaining information about personal data processing and obtaining a summary of personal data.
• Right to Correction & Erasure: Updating inaccurate data and requesting the deletion of personal data when it is no longer needed.
• Right of Grievance Redressal: Accessible mechanisms for registering privacy-related grievances.
• Right to Nominate: The ability to nominate an individual who will exercise these rights in the event of death or incapacity.
